Ottani Meccanica partnered with Bancolini Symbol to drive the digital transformation of its warehouse operations.
Previously, warehouse activities relied on manual data entry and paper-based picking lists, resulting in time-consuming processes and a higher risk of errors. To overcome these limitations, Ottani Meccanica implemented Zebra Technologies MC3400 rugged mobile computers and Zebra ZT231 industrial printers, creating a fully integrated and digital workflow.
The project was carried out alongside the deployment of the company’s new ERP system, enabling seamless data management and greater operational autonomy within the warehouse. As a result, Ottani Meccanica significantly improved efficiency, inventory accuracy, and shipment fulfillment speed.
Bancolini Symbol supported the project from the initial process analysis through to implementation, identifying the most suitable technologies for the company’s operational requirements.
