Ottani Meccanica S.r.l. is based in Castelfranco Emilia (Modena).
We manufacture small and high-precision components obtained from bars
with a diameter ranging between 2 mm and 32 mm.
Quality, flexibility, and reliability are our strong suits.
We mainly supply the automotive industry (carburettors, petrol and diesel
injection systems, gas systems). Our range of products also includes
cookers, gas valves, and hydraulic solenoid systems.

We mainly use brass, steels, and aluminium to manufacture our products.

We are proud of our UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO TS 16949 certifications.
It is the proof that focusing on our customers, supporting them during the
design stage, considering their proposals, and suggesting the best

It covers an area of 4000 m2 and is the place where we carry out the precision machining process.

It counts 58 machines, including 23 CNC sliding and fixed head lathes for bars up to 32 mm; 24 multi- spindle cam-controlled lathes for bars up to 25 mm; 10 single-spindle cam-controlled lathes for bars up to 20 mm; 1 Index Ms40 multi-spindle CNC lathe. All these machines are located over three departments. Each one of them ensures first-class production capacity.

The plant also features: a parts washing center equipped with a high-vacuum and ultrasonic cleaning machine, and a quality control department aimed at ensuring customized and precise production, equipped with a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine, profile projector, scanning profilometer, flow rate flowmeter, coating thickness gauge for heat treatments, Tesa Scan, and advanced technological instruments designed to achieve the goal of zero defects.

It covers an area of about 800 m2 and it is where we carry out pre-assembly operations and manufacture finished sub-units, which are tested and come with customised packaging. This plant includes: 11 manual ergonomic stations, 4 equipped manual ergonomic stations, 6 equipped manual ergonomic stations for 100% testing, finished part warehouse, finished parts and sub-units packaging station, Kanban product management, quality control and storage. Thanks to our innovative development process, every product that leaves our plant is finished, tested, and ready-to-use.

These three elements are strictly connected to each other and have always made us stand out since Ottani Meccanica was established on 20 January 1960. They perfectly merge in our machining processing, which starts from our customers’ requirements, continues with research (selection of the best materials durability features, product quality) and ends with the production stage. However, we never neglect the human factor. Our employees are suitably trained and their contribution remains essential for us.
