Ottani Meccanica Srl is pleased to announce the implementation of its new vertical warehouse referred to the storage of the raw material.
Ciampalini automated warehouse, model BI.MAG.2598, is a very modern inplant with traslated drawers which allows the deposit of metal bars both in bundles and in bulk.
The structure, which present an height of 11 meters, is composed by 4 Towers divided into 125 drawers all with a depth of 900 mm and a lenght of 3350 mm. The flow rates range from a minimum of 1200 kg to a maximum of 3000 kg.
Overall, the useful storage area (376.88 sqm) allows the storage of 260,000 kg of raw material.
The advanced technology of this warehouse allows the operator, after having composed the required number of the drawer, to receive the material directly on the picking trolley, facilitating handling operations.
The SSA software, with the aid of a computer on board the machine, allows the control of stocks, the updating of the loads and the real-time display of the total inventory.
All of this, in order to optimize the quantities of raw material facilitating and improving the production of our company.
